There are lots of fun and interesting things to do in the North East with your little this Easter bank holiday.

Here are a few of our favourites!

1. Easter Holidays at Life Science Centre
The Life Science Centre has some fantastic workshops and activities this Easter. Everything from daily chocolate workshops, craft activities and LEGO® exhibitions including the Brick History and North East LEGO® Landmarks. For more information please click here.

2. Choco-motion at the Stephenson Railway Museum
There is lots to do at the Stephenson Railway Museum this Easter. Come along and take a fun filled ride on the Easter Eggspress before exploring the museum and other Easter activities. They also have a family Easter trail, where you follow the clues to claim your mini chocolate egg prize! You can even pop along to the parcel van for story time with Wilemena Wonka for well-deserved rest after all the Easter fun. For more information please click here.

3. The Bowes Museum Easter Extravaganza – Family Fun Day
Hop along to The Bows Museum for their extra special fun packed day. They have a day packed full of activities such as collage an Eater bunny pot, make a Easter card with a difference and create Easter baskets with treats! For more information please click here.

4. Preston Park Museum – Hop Film Screening
Snuggle up with your little ones as you sit back and relax while watching this heart-warming comedy about E.B, the teenage son of the Easter Bunny and his adventures in Hollywood as he chases his dream of becoming a drummer. For more information please click here.

5. Down at the Farm – Easter Activities
Have a fun filled time at Down at the Farm this Easter holiday with the children. The farm has lots of activities such as bottled feeding adorable lambs, holding fluffy chicks and cuddling the baby rabbits – so there is something for every animal lover.
